With over a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Vincent is one of Kenko Academyβs most skilled and dedicated trainers. He graduated from Yuanpei University in Taiwan with a diploma in Pastry and Baking, and he has honed his craft at some of the finest culinary institutions, including the renowned Sky on 57 and Eaglewings Loft.
Chef Vincentβs expertise in pastry is widely recognized, particularly for his ability to create complex and beautifully designed cakes. His precision, attention to detail, and creative talent have earned him a reputation as a master of his craft. In addition to being a talented young chef, Chef Vincentβs teaching blends professionalism, passion, and humor, making his classes engaging and enriching for learners at all levels.
Whether mentoring seasoned professionals or aspiring young bakers, Chef Vincentβs goal is to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. He excels at creating a learning environment that fosters both creativity and technical mastery, adapting his teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each learner.

Chef Tommy Tan began their culinary journey in 1995, specializing in Asian Pastry, Peranakan, Chinese, and Malay cuisine. With over 25 years of experience, they are dedicated to providing high-quality training and inspiring the next generation of chefs.
Starting at BITC (PRIMA), Chef Tommy Tan quickly gained a reputation for delivering exceptional culinary courses. In 1999, they ventured into Dim Sum retail, where they developed strong business skills and a positive outlook on overcoming challenges.
Certified in Branding and Design with ACLP qualifications, Chef Tommy Tan continues to lead innovative courses at Kenko Academy, offering learners a blend of technical expertise and real-world culinary knowledge.
Chef Tommy Tan brings a hands-on approach to training, combining years of industry knowledge with a passion for mentoring the next generation of chefs. Their unique teaching style ensures that learners not only gain technical expertise but also the confidence and skills to thrive in a competitive culinary environment.
Chef Bernard Chua began his baking career in 1975, driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to high-quality standards. He received his tough training from several qualified master chefs and master bakers from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Australia, Japan, and Singapore in his early baking journey.
He started as an apprentice at Hotel Equatorial and later worked as a Pastry Chef for 20 years in prestigious hotels like the Regent, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Goodwood Park, and Carlton.
In 1995, Chef Chua moved into education, becoming a Baking Instructor at Prima Ltd, where he advanced to Senior Baking Instructor. In 2006, he joined Shatec Institutes as a Host Mentor, teaching full diploma courses. He also worked internationally as a Pastry and Baking Trainer at Christchurch Polytechnic in New Zealand.
After returning to Singapore, he spent 10 years at Cerealtech School of Baking, rising to the position of Principal. In 2020, he joined the Baking Industry Training College as a Senior Instructor for 4 years.
