Here are some sneak peek of what a typical workshop will look like!
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Food Business Management (Baking & Pastry Arts) from the Culinary Institute of America (SIT) and is a certified MOE CET trainer with ACLP credentials.
She has extensive experience in pastry kitchens, having worked at Hilton Hotel, Kempinski, and Shop Wonderland. Amanda also served as a full-time Chef Trainer at Baking Industry Training College (BITC), where she was involved in training delivery, curriculum development, and event management. Her cheerful personality and passion for teaching.
With over 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Ng Chong Kim blends creativity, technical mastery, and a deep passion for teaching. Starting as a home baker, he quickly discovered his flair for crafting unique pastries and culinary creations.
He spent 16 years at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel, where he refined his leadership, management, and plating skills while mastering pastry, baking, and R&D. His innovative talent led him to collaborate with Old Seng Choong (老成昌), where he combined traditional methods with modern tastes to create beloved recipes.
As a former trainer at the Baking Industry Training College , Chef Kim has guided countless aspiring chefs. His teaching philosophy integrates real-world experience, creativity, and discipline — empowering learners to master their craft and achieve excellence.
Kenko Academy is thrilled to partner with PasarFish to launch a fun and meaningful Fishball-Making Workshop!
This workshop, led by Kenny, offers a unique blend of culinary and educational insights. Kenny, who holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, brings over seven years of experience as a facilitator for public and school programmes with WWF-Singapore, where he focused on sustainability and conservation.
He started an initiative that curates immersive experiences such as tours and workshops—including fish-themed culinary sessions—that educate participants on Singapore’s seafood heritage and the challenges of seafood sustainability.
Kenny's unique blend of educational expertise and culinary storytelling ensures every session is fun, meaningful, and deeply memorable. Don't miss this special collaboration!
